What is the cry of the whole WORLD?... PEACE, PEACE, PEACE. It is longed for, craved, sought after... And we have the answer
" Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
-Phillipians4:4-7
PLANTING THE SEED
This peace is added to us when we have rejoicing in our lives! That joy we talked about in the last blog post...which comes from love... when that seed blooms it adds peace into our lives. There may be a pattern starting here!!!
That's way too simple right?! Or maybe it is meant to be so ANYONE can live a life of peace. This is where we MUST trust and surrender to God's truth. Phillipians 4:8 goes on to tell us exactly how we can have PEACE OF MIND:
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Oh, sweet friends why do we complicate this? He gives us the blueprint.. down to what we are to think on...
TRUE HONEST JUST PURE LOVELY GOOD REPORT
VIRTUE PRAISE
But how distracted we get. How we focus on all the issues, problems, turmoil and stress in life! Friends.. don't beat yourself up if this is you. THIS IS ALL OF US... the line in the sand gets drawn now. Let's rally together to radically change our thinking!
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Let's do this!
Let's change our thinking this week. One at a time. If it doesn't fit into God's criteria...dont let it in!
Here's my prayer...
Dear Lord,
I give you my thoughts today.. Help me to rejoice in you, every moment... I pray that you would help me to guard my mind by your wonderful words. If it isn't true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, full of virtue or praise... dear Jesus cast in out in your holy name! I pray for all those that will read these words to gain victory over their thoughts and gain your peace that passes ALL UNDERSTANDING! In the name of my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
